✨Meet 7-year-old Harper from Fairfield, who has been passionate about giving back since age two. For her seventh birthday, Harper asked for donations instead of presents to support local individuals and families in need served by a food pantry. Harper said, “I am so fortunate that anything I’ve ever needed in life, I have always received. I don’t know what it is like to need something and not be able to get it. And yet, I know there are a lot of people and families who experience this every day. And I know that these families live right here in Fairfield or neighboring towns.”

Harper created a video for family and friends, raising an impressive $4,500 for Operation Hope of Fairfield 💞Rather than a single donation, she made 17 shopping trips throughout the summer, personally selecting and donating the food pantry's most-needed items across six separate deliveries. Driven purely by empathy and gratitude, Harper proves that having more than you need is an opportunity to help those who have less. At her core, Harper understands that giving back is a way of seeing the world and a way of making the world a little better for someone else. Harper’s inspiring generosity shows that you’re never too young to make a meaningful difference in your community 🫶Our deepest thanks to Harper and all those who supported her initiative to help our neighbors in need! 🙏
