Since we couldn’t have our annual “Really Big Tag Sale” in August due to the pandemic, we are hosting a “Really Big Food Drive” to help fill our pantry shelves in time for the fall. Join us on Saturday, September 12, 10am-2pm behind the lot of Operation Hope and First Church Congregational, 148 Beach Road. Donate, drop off and do good! All volunteers will be practicing social distancing and wearing masks, we encourage our donors and guests to do the same.
The Low Darts and the 5 o’clocks will be performing musical selections and Trinity Solar will be on hand to answer your questions about how to harness the power of solar WHILE helping Operation Hope. Sign up for a complimentary, no commit solar consultation for the chance to win a restaurant gift card! BD Provisions will also be selling coffee with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Operation Hope.
Our most urgent pantry needs include: boxed or shelf-stable milk, peanut butter, jelly, honey, cereal, oatmeal, cookies, crackers, Lysol spray, cleaning products, paper towels, dried potatoes, baked beans, condiments (ketchup, mustard, mayonnaise, salad dressing), any variety of 14oz canned tomatoes (diced, crushed, sauce, etc.), popcorn, pasta side dishes, mac and cheese, ground coffee, canned vegetables (especially green beans, peas, corn), canned chili and stew, stuffing and gravy.
