Fundraise
Raise money or goods for Operation Hope of Fairfield - on your own, with your class, your club, or your company. Some of these cost you nothing at all.
Become a Hope Partner
Make a monthly commitment to a Fairfield where everyone has a place to turn.
Donate
Run a food or toiletry drive
Schools, offices, congregations and neighborhoods run drives for us all
year. There are two ways to do it.
Collect it yourself
Gather donations at your school, office or building and bring them
to 636 Old Post Road. Our printable wish list tells your donors
exactly what we need, and standard sizes beat bulk.
Set up a #GiveHealthy drive
#GiveHealthy lets people donate fresh fruit, vegetables and other
healthy food online. Nothing to store, nothing to haul, and the
Pantry receives food our clients rarely get otherwise.
Double or triple your gift
Many companies match charitable donations from employees, retirees and spouses, and some offer pre-tax payroll deduction giving. Ask your HR department whether yours does — it is often the single easiest way to increase what you give.
Ways to give that cost you nothing
Three partnerships that turn things you were doing anyway into money
for the Pantry.
Stop & Shop Giving Tags
Buy the $2.50 reusable Community Bag at any Stop & Shop. Scratch the Giving Tag on the back, then submit your code within seven days and choose Operation Hope of Fairfield — Food Pantry. We receive $1.
Go solar with Trinity
Have Trinity Solar look at your utility bill and see whether your home qualifies. Operation Hope of Fairfield receives $100 for every qualified consultation, and $1,000 if you have solar installed.
Donate a vehicle
Cars, trucks, boats, RVs and motorcycles, running or not. Fill in the secure form and a donor support representative handles the rest. Pick-up is free and your gift is tax-deductible.
