Each day, we get to witness the power of transformative change. Each day, we give people the opportunity to mend from past traumas and move forward in their lives. Each day, we get to see how the combination of good intentions and committed talent can make the world a better place for those who struggle with hunger and homelessness. This year’s 18th Annual Evening of Hope was a celebration of just that – 3 remarkable Community Hero honorees – Alex Trembicki, People’s United Bank & The Bridgeport Ladies Charitable Society – and the countless volunteers, donors, sponsors, and staff who together, are committed to the belief that everyone deserves supportive relationships, hope for the future and a place to call home.
Many thanks to our guests who attended the festivities, to the staff at Brooklawn Country Club and especially to our generous sponsors. Because of them, Operation Hope will continue to be here to help those who are hungry and homelessness: AvalonBay Communities, Betty & Alan Feldman, Black Rock Church, People’s United Bank, Santa Energy, First County Bank, The Store at First Church Congregational, Betsy Ryan Interiors, First Church Congregational, Goldman Gruder & Woods LLC and Fairfield Magazine / townvibe. And to Fairfield HamletHub for capturing so many special moments!
