Observed each year on the third Monday in January as “a day on, not a day off,” MLK Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. Here are 3 easy ways to help our neighbors in need at any time this month and honor Dr. King’s legacy:
– Bring in donations for our Food Pantry, M-F, 9am-5pm, 636 Old Post Rd (closed MLK Day, January 18). Pantry wish list here.
– Purchase pantry donations from our Amazon wish list here and have them sent directly to us.
– Donate to our Winter Appeal here, which supports our Food Pantry, affordable housing program and services (any amount appreciated).
Thank you.
