Donate food directly at your mailbox next Saturday, May 13 for the National Association of Letter Carriers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive! It’s easy for friends in Fairfield and Southport! Grab a bag of our much-needed items listed here and leave them by your mailbox Saturday morning. Rain or shine, your postal worker will pick up and drop off at Operation Hope. If your letter carrier is participating, as participation is strictly voluntary, place non-perishable food donations in a bag next to your mailbox on Saturday, May 13, rain or shine. Your letter carrier will collect the food and deliver it to Operation Hope. Our Food Pantry is in need of regular sized containers (not large or bulk) of ramen soup cups, sugar, oil, pancake mix & syrup, crackers, canned chicken, canned stew & chili, canned Chef Boyardee and Spaghetti-Os, canned fruit, pasta sauce (plastic jars preferred), ground regular, decaf & instant coffee, pudding & Jello, deodorant and paper towels.
