Girl Scout Annual Cookie Project A Sweet Success

Many thanks to Girl Scout Troop 30151 and friends for coordinating its annual cookie project to benefit Operation Hope’s food pantry clients! Scouts Margaret Carroll, Anna Gedacht and Keira Randolph have been doing this cookie project for five years and this year, their collection exceeded expectations! They collected 167 DOZEN cookies! That’s 2,004 cookies! Plus too many to count mini candy canes and Hershey kisses went into the boxes. Many thanks to everyone to everyone who donated, baked and assembled the festive cookie boxes – Girl Scout sister troops and caring friends and neighbors! Huge thanks also to Jessica and Michele at AR Workshop Fairfield for giving the troop a place to put this all together! Once again, the cookie project was a sweet success, we appreciate you for treating our clients to some holiday cheer!
