Seeking Hosts for Aug 12 Tag Sale

Spring cleaning is in season and it’s the perfect time to set aside beloved items and plan to host a tag sale at your home to benefit Operation Hope! Once again, we are asking friends to host tag sales in their own yards and garages around Fairfield and Southport that Saturday. This is your chance to purge so others and our neighbors in need can benefit from your treasures! If you are interested in hosting a Tag Sale in your garage or yard in Fairfield or Southport for the 2023 Operation Hope Tag Sale, please fill out THIS FORM by July 31, 2023.You get to choose the specific times between 9am-3pm that you will be open! Once you sign up, someone will reach out to you to confirm your registration, provide details to submit the $25 host fee and provide a link to the liability waiver. May 3 Free Pet Food Pantry Spots Available

Our Community Pet Food Pantry returns May 3 & June 1, 1:30-3:30pm🐱🐶 In partnership with CT Humane Society, the pet pantry will be located in Operation Hope’s parking lot by the basketball court (please enter at 148 Beach Road). Appointments are required, please call 860-594-4500 x6308 to schedule your appointment. Spots available for the May 3 pet pantry! The food is provided at no charge to community members in need of support so that pets in homes can stay with the families that they already love so much. All of the pet food provided has come to the Connecticut Humane Society by way of generous donations. We are grateful for the CHS’s support of our neighbors in need, especially our four-legged friends!

Our most pressing needs are cash, checks and grocery store gifts cards, which allow us to purchase fresh produce, dairy and meat for our clients. Regular sized items (not bulk) appreciated. Drop off at our pantry M-F, 9am-5pm at 636 Old Post Road; there’s a drop off area to the left of the building. Spring Treats for Our Littlest Neighbors in Need

Hippity hoppity, Easter and Passover are on their way! Our resident Easter Bunny Carole Canzoneri🐰and her chicks 🐣 are at it again! They put together the sweetest goody bags overflowing with spring treats for our clients’ kids to enjoy 😊 Thank you to these amazing women for your time and effort, and thanks to all who donated items to fill the bags. Carole and her group of volunteers are truly angels 😇

St. Thomas 8th Grade Donates Toiletries to Help Neighbors in Need

Thank you to Mrs. Shay and the 8th grade class at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School in Fairfield for putting together bags brimming with toiletries for our clients. These items are not covered under SNAP benefits and can be expensive for our clients to purchase on their own. We really appreciate these generous donations to help our neighbors in need. IMPACTrumbull Cares for Our Neighbors in Need

Thanks so much to the generous volunteers from IMPACTrumbull for recently donating 20 Care Caddies of full size hygiene items for our neighbors in need. SNAP does not cover non-food essentials such as personal care items so we are especially grateful to be able to offer these Care Caddies to our clients. 

IMPACTrumbull is an organization of over 100 families in Trumbull who support our local community through hands on monthly projects and collections. In 2022, IMPACTrumbull volunteers dedicated over 500 hours of volunteer time to organizations in Fairfield and New Haven Counties. Since 2012, IMPACTrumbull has completed over 150 projects and donated over 14,000 Blessings Bags and over 1,800 Care Caddies to local shelters and pantries.
