TOWN-WIDE TAG SALE

Our Town-Wide Tag Sale will take place in various locations around Fairfield and Southport Saturday, August 7 and Sunday, August 8, 2021, 9am-5pm, rain or shine.
 

Rather than locating the Tag Sale at First Church, friends are hosting tag sales in their own yards and garages around Fairfield and Southport that weekend. While the Town-Wide Tag Sale will look a bit different this year, you can rest assured proceeds will continue to help feed, house and counsel our neighbors in need. And, you are guaranteed to find many treasures!

Shoppers from all over are invited stop by Operation Hope Saturday and Sunday at 636 Old Post Road Tag Sale, 9am-5pm to receive a copy of the host site list. Our beloved “Finer Things” tables will be located in the parking lot for additional shopping. The first 100 people will be treated to an Operation Hope reusable shopping bag. Operation Hope volunteers will be on hand to answer questions.

With 32 tag sale host sites scattered around Fairfield and Southport, including 3 retail sites, you are guaranteed to find many treasures.

Please note that some sites are open just Saturday or Sunday, and some are open both days. Site addresses, times of sale operation, and items featured are noted in the list to make it easy for you to shop around town. Swing by Operation Hope at 636 Old Post Road, August 7 and 8, 9am-5pm, to receive printed copies of the list and a map.   • Sellers should set up their sales in a way that makes them feel comfortable and take into consideration the comfort level of potential buyers. Stay alert to town and state recommendations of social distancing, using sanitizer, wearing masks, etc. Operation Hope is not involved in, nor responsible for, the actions of Tag Sale sellers or buyers during this community event. By holding a tag sale, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.
