Recently Congregation B’Nai Israel’s BIFTY (B’nai Israel Federation of Temple Youth) youth group held its annual Yom Kippur food drive to benefit Operation Hope. On Yom Kippur, God is said to take a look at the deeds of the Jewish people and to seal each person’s fate in the “Book of Life.” More than anything, Yom Kippur is a day of seeking forgiveness and giving to charity. We are grateful for B’Nai Isreal’s clergy, BIFTY members and congregation for holding this dear to their hearts, giving back to help our neighbors most in need. Also, thank you to all donors and volunteers for their support.
