Support the Operation Hope team and walk to end hunger! CROP Hunger Walks are nationwide and have been held since 1969 to meet the needs of those who are hungry in our communities and across the globe. 25% of all monies raised will go directly back into local organizations – Operation Hope is included in the select Bridgeport-area organizations receiving funding. The remaining funds goes towards funding the worldwide needs of those who are hungry. This is a fun event for the whole family! Here’s how you can help:
1. Donate to the Operation Hope team here
2. Join us on May 5 for the walk. We will gather together at 1:00pm at
Seaside Park for the rally and then kick off the walk at 1:30pm. Each walker is recommended to reach out to their own personal contacts to request sponsorship. If you decide that you want to walk, we can send you a link to the online website where folks may make their donations. If you are not able to join in the fundraising effort, please do not let this be a barrier to your participation at the event – your presence is what’s most important to us!
