Although our 19th annual “Evening of Hope” event took place in May, we’d like to extend our deepest thanks now as the event helps sustain our neighbors in need and our operations throughout the year. It is one of the live fundraising events we host annually to support our organization.

“Spring into Hope” at The Inn at Longshore was a wonderful way to start returning to a sense of normalcy. Our guests were eager to get down and do good, as we danced to live music from a group of talented musicians from sponsor Band Central. We were beyond thrilled to honor long-time volunteer and Pantry Manager Kathleen McNamara as our Champion of Hope for her dedication to ending hunger in our community.

Thank you to Band Central for the dancing tunes (how fun was it to see everyone on their feet?!), to our guests for attending, to our many friends and businesses for donating auction items and to the Inn at Longshore staff. And finally to our volunteers, staff and gala committee, thank you for seamlessly and tirelessly planning and running the event.

Our most heartfelt appreciation to our sponsors who made the event possible:

🌹Rose sponsors: Band Central, Black Rock Church, Global Infrastructure Partners, Peoples United, a division of M&T Bank, Santa Energy🌹

🌼Daisy Sponsors: Altezza Restorations, Angel Commercial, LLC, Bridgeport Hospital, Cross Country Mortgage, Mark & Angeli Scott, Sturges Ridge of Fairfield, Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home🌼

🙏If you were unable to join us at “Spring into Hope” but would still like to support our mission, please consider a donation of any amount here. 🙏

We look forward to seeing you next year at the 20th annual “Evening of Hope” and wish you a happy summer!
