It’s been two years since the pandemic has dominated our lives, dramatically changing the way we do things. As the pandemic progresses, we continue to adapt how we operate here at Operation Hope. One of the events that looks quite different today than two years ago is our beloved community-wide Tag Sale. We worked hard last year to redesign our traditional Tag Sale model, pleased that it has evolved into something that works for where we are today. Gratefully, the Tag Sale continues to help raise money to feed, house and counsel our neighbors in need.

We are thrilled to announce Operation Hope’s 2022 Tag Sale will take place on a single day, Saturday, July 23, rain or shine. Once again, we are asking friends to host tag sales in their own yards and garages around Fairfield and Southport that Saturday. This is your chance to purge so others and more importantly, our neighbors in need, will benefit from your treasures.

WE SEEK A TAG SALE CHAIR!

Are you a super-organized person or part of a like-minded small group of friends who’d love to give back to the community? We are looking for a Fairfield or Southport resident or a few residents to chair this wonderful, eagerly-anticipated event. The chair or chairs are responsible for planning the Tag Sale and working with host sites, as well as partnering with Operation Hope staff to recruit volunteers and coordinate publicity. Anyone is welcome to apply! If you are interested in volunteering your time, please reach out to [email protected] to learn more about how you can help us make the Tag Sale a success. Thank you!

WE SEEK TAG SALE SITE HOSTS!

If you are interested in hosting a Tag Sale site this year and would like additional information, please email [email protected]. Thank you for lending a hand, and especially for opening your home and heart to help us end hunger and homelessness, one person at a time.
