Operation Hope of Fairfield is fortunate to have recently received a $15,000 grant from Fairfield County’s Community Foundation (FCCF) for its Supportive Affordable Housing Program. The grant will specifically support general operating expenses for the 84 units of affordable housing Operation Hope maintains in Fairfield. The funding supports the 2023-24 program year.
Operation Hope’s Supportive Affordable Housing provides clean and safe permanent rental housing for previously homeless families and individuals. The combination of affordable rent and support services helps Operation Hope’s clients remain in housing and achieve their ongoing goals.
“Operation Hope is grateful to have received this tremendous support for its Supportive Affordable Housing Program from Fairfield County’s Community Foundation” said Operation Hope’s Executive Director Carla Miklos. “Every effort is made to connect each of our clients to services for long term support to increase self-sufficiency and increase housing stability. This is an outstanding impact within our community, and our history of success in providing stability in permanent, affordable rental housing depends on the support of partners such as FCCF who are committed to building and sustaining a vital and prosperous community where all have the opportunity to participate and thrive.”
