Fairfield Ludlowe students Harper Treschuk, Jordan Stein and Campbell Treschuk have been hard at work this summer at the Operation Hope Community Garden located on the First Church Congregational property. Little sister Sylvie Treschuk has also lent her helping hands to the garden. Broccoli, eggplant, tomatoes, cucumbers, lettuce, kale, beans – all have been planted and harvested with care, feeding our neighbors in need through the Operation Hope food pantry. We are truly grateful not just for the opportunity to offer fresh produce in our pantry but that this has been a wonderful way for our young volunteers to connect and give back to the community in a meaningful way. Thank you for your green thumbs and big hearts, Harper, Jordan, Campbell and Sylvie!
