At Operation Hope, we are grateful for the United Way of Coastal Fairfield County (UWCFC) and Cathy DeCesare, Sr. Vice President Strategic Initiatives, for all they do in our community to ensure every person has the opportunity to succeed. We were recently awarded a Neighbors Helping Neighbors grant from the UWCFC. These grants help organizations like ours provide food, shelter and basic needs to many in our community who would otherwise be homeless, hungry or simply go without. This particular grant will be distributed as part of our work through our Homeless Response Center, to provide financial support for qualifying clients for first month’s rent, security deposit, rental assistance or utility assistance.
