Neighbors Helping Neighbors Treats Community Kitchen Guests to Oktoberfest Feast

The grassroots volunteer organization Neighbors Helping Neighbors treated our Community Kitchen guests to an Oktoberfest on Friday, October 20. In the rain, they grilled hamburgers & bratwurst, served up butternut squash, German potato salad, Helene Daly’s special baked beans, cookies and apple crisp for our guests. Special thanks to Marcie & Joe Bow for grilling!Angels among us! Also, great to have Jack’s helping hands as a food runner and grill cleaner! We’re lucky to live in a town that is so eager to help others.Thanks so much to the dozens of donors and volunteers for this amazing and generous spread! What a delicious and festive treat for our neighbors in need!
