Here’s how one Girl Scout found a way to bring sweetness and light to many families during the most unusual of summers while helping our neighbors in need. Meet Anjali! Wanting to earn her Junior Business Owner badge, Anjali created $10 cookie jars  – simply add butter, egg and vanilla to one of the four flavors and you have a sweet treat within minutes – and sold them locally. Anjali combined exploring the basics of building a business with a mission of helping those in need. A win win! Anjali allocated a portion of the cookie jar proceeds – $200 – and purchased non perishables for our food pantry. With young friends like Anjali, who is learning early what it means to be a good citizen of the world, we have much hope in the future. Thank you, Anjali, and congratulations on earning your well-deserved Junior Business Owner badge!
