The State of CT’s new ban on single-use plastic bags goes into effect TOMORROW, August 1. It will place a tax of 10 cents on each single-use plastic bag. TODAY is the LAST DAY to grab your reusable Stop & Shop bags to support Operation Hope AND help feed your neighbors in need. For every $2.50 bag sold through July 31 at the Villa Ave Stop & Shop (760 Villa Avenue, Fairfield, CT), $1 will be donated to Operation Hope’s Food Pantry. Go green and do good!
