Grassroots effort at its finest…thank you CT Love Army and all sock donors for collecting over 2,000 pairs of socks for our neighbors in need. CT Love Army’s mission is to facilitate acts of love for everyday people by offering ideas and opportunities for volunteerism and community action. The org is creating environments where people are encouraged and inspired to improve their communities through these acts of love. We are grateful to be included in the good company of other orgs that benefited from this kindness: Bridgeport Rescue Mission, Thomas Merton Center, Families in Transition and Open Door Shelter. Shelters go through socks very quickly, as they are one of the most sought-after items by the men, women and children who utilize these facilities. These socks will certainly be appreciated and keep so many toes cozy 🧦❤️🧦
