Did you know disposable diapers can cost $70 to $80 per month per baby? And that no state or federal child safety-net program allocates dollars specifically for the purchase of diapers. It’s no surprise that 1 in 3 U.S. families struggles to provide enough diapers to keep a baby or toddler clean, dry and healthy. Please help us fill this need for our clients by donating diapers to the spring diaper drive hosted by State Reps Brenda Kupchick and Laura Devlin. All sizes and open packs are welcome at these drop off points through JUNE 19 (and at any time at our Food Pantry at 636 Old Post Rd):
-A Child’s Garden, 100 Mona Terrace
-Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road
-Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road
-St. Paul’s Nursery School, 661 Old Post Road
-Pequot Library, 720 Pequot Avenue, Southport
Join us at Saugatuck Sweets in Fairfield on June 22 from 1:00pm-3:00pm to conclude the drive – bring a donation if you can!
