At the third and final (for now!) Traveling Pet Food Pantry hosted by Connecticut Humane Society at Operation Hope last week, together we distributed 232.7 lbs of dry cat food, 1,137 cans of cat food, 568 bs of dry dog food, and 239 cans of dog food to 24 families (and 54 pets). Wow! Overall, during CHS’ three month partnership with Operation Hope, the Traveling Pet Food Pantry distributed food to 36 unique families and 74 unique pets:
- 576.7lbs of dry cat food
- 2,760 cans of cat food
- 1,297.3lbs of dry dog food
- 518 cans of dog food
No one should have to choose between feeding themselves and their pets. Pet food can be costly, and with the pandemic, the need for pet food is even greater. We are truly grateful for our partnership with CHS and their unwavering support to help feed our four legged neighbors in need 🐱❤️🙏🏽🐶
