As part of the 6th annual be homeful for the holidays campaign, the CT REALTORS® Care Foundation was pleased to partner once again with the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness to help end family homelessness in CT. Through this campaign, a child could stay safe at home…donations collected help prevent family homelessness by providing emergency assistance to help children and their families stay in the comfort of home and not have to enter the shelter system. And for every $25 donated, the CT REALTORS® Care Foundation gifted a Paddington plush bear to a child living in a shelter for the holidays.
In late December, the Fairfield Board of REALTORS®, represented by Mary Beth Grasso from Grasso Real Estate Group, delivered Paddington bears to Operation Hope for children of our clients. Pictured here are Operation Hope’s Volunteer Coordinator Michelle Stearns with Mary Beth Grasso. We are grateful for the Board’s continued support to ensure everyone has a safe place to live.
