Fairfield Y Drive for Operation Hope

The Fairfield Y is teaming up with Operation Hope of Fairfield to support neighbors who are facing food insecurity this season. Together, we can make sure every family has what they need to thrive.

The Y is collecting non-perishable food items, gift cards and essentials through November 24. Drop-offs can be made at the front desk or the table right in front of it, at 841 Old Post Road in Fairfield.

A message from Carla Miklos, Executive Director of Operation Hope, reminds us why this matters: many families are struggling due to recent changes in SNAP benefits, and the need for pantry support continues to rise. Every donation—big or small—helps ensure no one in our community goes to bed hungry.

Requested items include: Cereal, Chef Boyardee/SpaghettiOs’s, Canned Fruit, Chili, Stew, Pasta Sauce
Canned Meat, Baking Mix, Crackers, Salt, Pepper, & Other Spices, Canned Tomato Products.
