Applications for the 2023 Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA) Tax Credit Program are due Monday, October 2, 2023! This program allows companies that are a C corporation paying taxes to the State of CT to receive a 60% or 100% state tax credit for their donation to Operation Hope. Funding will be used to purchase energy-efficient rehab and upgrades to Operation Hope’s affordable housing units
In last year’s round of the NAA program, we are grateful to Avangrid, Southern CT Gas Company, Santa Energy Corporation, R.C. Bigelow and TXP Services, Inc. for generously contributing to support our organization. As housing units age, Operation Hope experiences rehab costs that need attention. Required updates include roofs, HVAC systems (heating and air conditioning), windows, and energy efficient bulbs and appliances. Each of these items were part of the energy conservation efforts in line with the NAA tax credits received last year, ensuring our housing clients have a safe place to live and a roof over their head.
Companies must submit a brief application to the State between September 15 and October 2, 2023 and make a donation to Operation by December 31, 2023. Complete the NAA-02 application at https://bit.ly/ct-naa-tax-credit-form. Get a tax credit AND support Operation Hope!
