Last month, Grace and Maeve Kenney of Birdhouses for the Homeless had a fun idea for raising money for Operation Hope. They organized birdhouse kits for local Girl Scout troops, and via Zoom, they painted birdhouses together while Grace shared more about how there are so many people in our community who are really struggling right now. The project raised $350! Having fun and doing good at the same time, which is exactly what Girl Scouts do. This project was a triple win! Thanks to Grace and Maeve for their ingenuity and generosity and to the Girl Scouts for lending a hand to help our neighbors in need.
