Tomorrow, October 1, is the LAST day to apply for the 2021 Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA), where funding will be used to purchase energy-efficient rehab and upgrades to its affordable housing units. Get a tax credit AND support Operation Hope! Companies that are C or S corporations paying taxes to the State of CT can receive a 60% state tax credit for their donation to Operation Hope. Companies must submit a brief application to the state between September 15 and October 1, 2021. Complete the application at https://bit.ly/oh-naa-2021.

Last year, ConnectiCare and AVANGRID/UI generously contributed to Operation Hope through NAA. As housing units age, Operation Hope experiences rehab costs that need attention. Required updates include roofs, HVAC systems (heating and air conditioning), windows, and energy efficient bulbs and appliances. Each of these items were part of the energy conservation efforts in line with the NAA tax credits received from ConnectiCare and AvanGrid/UI, ensuring our housing clients have a safe place to live and a roof over their head.
