Our pantry was recently the lucky beneficiary of allergy-friendly food manufacturer Hungry Harry’s pancake/waffle and muffin mixes! 🥞🧇What a treat to be able to offer pantry clients as the mixes are free from the top 14 food allergens, including milk, egg, peanut, tree nut, wheat, soy, and sesame. The donation was a collaboration between Securing Safe Food and Hungry Harry’s via the Food Allergy Research and Education FARE CAREPACK Campaign.
Founded by high school senior Rachel Brooks of Trumbull, CT, Securing Safe Food is a student-led, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that partners with nearly 30 food pantries in seven states to consistently supply the food-allergic, food insecure population with safe food.
