Since 1990, ordinary young people have been joined by schools, churches, local businesses, community partners and NFL teams across the country in the Souper Bowl of Caring to generate over $170 million in food and funds to help support soup kitchens, food banks and other hunger-relief organizations in their local communities.
Assumption Church has once again generously made us one of its beneficiaries. Stop by Assumption Church (545 Stratfield Road, Fairfield) and drop off non-perishable donations:
-Saturday, February 12, 3-5pm
-Sunday, February 13, 8am-1pm
Non-perishables needed: canned veggies, fruits, meats and soups; cereal, pasta, sauce, paper towels, shampoo, cleaning products, paper towels, toiler paper, etc.
