FAMILY OPPORTUNITIES

Many families find that volunteering together can be a rewarding experience. Families with children over the age of 10 can help serve lunches or dinners in our Community Kitchen at our Shelter at 50 Nichols Street or help sort, shelve and distribute food at our Food Pantry (children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian) at 636 Old Post Road. Families are also able to help at many of our events including Hope for the Holidays, Postal Service Food Drive and our Community Tag Sale.

Families with younger children assist us by running food and toiletry drives and preparing meals and baked goods for both our Shelter and our Food Pantry.
