Observed each year on the third Monday in January as “a day on, not a day off,” MLK Jr. Day is the only federal holiday designated as a national day of service to encourage all Americans to volunteer to improve their communities. Here are 3 easy ways to help our neighbors in need at any time while honoring Dr. King’s legacy:
– Donate to our Winter Appeal here, which supports our Food Pantry, affordable housing program, clinical services, senior services and more (any amount appreciated).
– Bring in donations for our Food Pantry, M-F, 9am-4:30pm, 636 Old Post Rd (closed MLK Jr. Day, January 20). Pantry wish list is here.
– Purchase pantry donations from our Amazon wish list here and have them sent directly to us.
Thank you 🙏🏽❤️🙏🏽 Please note our business office and Food Pantry are closed today, January 20. Office hours resume Tuesday, January 21 and pantry hours resume Wednesday, January 22. Donation drop off resumes January 21.
