We are honored to announce that Operation Hope recently received a grant of $13,600 from United Illuminating/Southern Connecticut Gas/Connecticut Natural Gas under Connecticut’s Neighborhood Assistance Act Tax Credit Program. Operation Hope will use the funding for energy efficient HVAC and roofs for some of the affordable housing units we own and operate.

Operation Hope is fortunate to have recently received a $25,000 grant from Fairfield County's Community Foundation (FCCF) for our Homeless Response Center (HRC). The grant will specifically support the Coordinated Access Network (CAN) Navigators and housing search coordination activities which assist hundreds of people each year.
The State of CT's new ban on single-use plastic bags goes into effect August 1. It will place a tax of 10 cents on each single-use plastic bag. So grab your reusable Stop & Shop bags AND help feed your neighbors in need. For every $2.50 bag sold through July 31 at the Villa Ave Stop & Shop (760 Villa Avenue, Fairfield, CT), $1 will be donated to Operation Hope's Food Pantry. Go green and do good!
