Applications will soon be due for the Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA)! This program allows companies that are C or S corporations paying taxes to the State of CT to receive a 60% or 100% state tax credit for their donation to Operation Hope. In last year’s round of the NAA program, we are grateful to AvanGrid/UI for generously contributing to support our organization. As housing units age, Operation Hope experiences rehab costs that need attention. Required updates include roofs, HVAC systems (heating and air conditioning), windows, and energy efficient bulbs and appliances. Each of these items will be part of the energy conservation efforts in line with the NAA tax credits received from AvanGrid/UI, ensuring our housing clients have a safe place to live and a roof over their head.
